He was the first guest on 89.3 The Current’s “Local Show” and has been called “the hardest working singer-songwriter in Minnesota.” He won Song of the Year (for “Come to Me”) in the 2005 Minnesota Music Awards and Songwriter of the Year in the 2006 MMA’s. He received a 4-star review from the UK’s “Uncut” magazine for his 2007 album “Turning.” He has released 17 critically acclaimed albums, including his latest, 2022’s “Seriously," which many critics and fans have praised as his finest record yet.

Tim On Tap (Tim Greening) has been playing and singing for crowds since he was young. Growing up in the Foothills of the Adirondack Mountains he found inspiration in nature and the trees of northern New York. There he grew his love of playing under the instruction of master performers of the area like his mentor Howard Brinson and Tim Martuzas. Who gave him his first gig when he was only 15 years old, it was there that Tim learned how much joy playing music can bring to people. He went on to play with various groups, but during the George Bush JR years, he became known for his work in "The Beer Drinkers Society" a traveling musical comedy act. After some years he decided to take a break. That break would last for 12 years.
